My ZUMBA class consists of Latin, hip-hop, pop, 80s jams, country, belly-dancing, West African, broadway -- well just about any kind of dance. I choreograph the majority of the routines to include ranges of skill level and intensity. There is something for EVERYONE in my class.

The class has been structured following the principals of interval training. Interval training consists of repeating sessions of relatively high intensity exercise mixed with periods of lower intensity and some toning. It's GREAT for the beginner or for the advanced exerciser.

ZUMBA is fun, easy and you'll be sweating before you know it!

Please wear comfortable active clothing that is not restrictive and allows appropriate cooling for thermoregulation of the body.

Also, wear comfortable shoes, with plenty of cushion and lateral support. Typically, an aerobics shoe or cross-trainer is appropriate.

AND WATER!!! We'll be taking 30 second water breaks after every 4 songs. Trust me, you'll need the water. Staying hydrated during class is very helpful.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

PERFORMANCE NIGHT

Seems like I'm impressed with the performances only every other week. Last week I was super excited. And this week... uh, not so much. Anywho, here is my quick run down.

• Courtney had the best solo.

• Why didn't any judges say anything about Twitch and Katee's kiss? I thought that routines was pretty cool. I can say that's the 1st domestic violence routine I ever saw :|

• Mark and Comfort's hip hop wasn't as great as the judges thought. WHAT EV! I'm not even going to comment on the fox trot. GEEZ!

• Please stop putting Joshua in tight pants.

Who's to go? Comfort and my man Mark. Any hey... since Jessica made it to the top 10, but Comfort came back in her place with they have 11 dancers on tour?
