my new year's resolution

I hate my thighs. So last winter I bought a Leg Magic machine. This thing works your inner thighs better than the machine in the gym! But I never used my Leg Magic consistently.

So my new year's resolution is: after every Zumba class I teach I go home, put on my headphones, and get on the Leg Magic for one song.

This is my 3rd week and I can already tell the difference!

  1. Mmmm girl you made me want to get one of this! If I combine this machine + my weighted hula hoop I will be in good shape!!!! (If I remember to do it everyday... guilty!!)

Does it really work? I can't get rid of inner-thigh flab for anything.

  3. Oh gosh... I can't get rid of my inner-thigh flab either. My thighs have ALWAYS been that way. And I'm SUPER FLEXIBLE. I lay on my side and do those Jane Fonda leg lifts and my leg just flies behind my head.

So I honestly think there is no muscle there to sculpt.

I have noticed that I've gotten much stronger. At first I'd do the Leg Magic and I still feel it the next day. Now I can do more reps. And I've been doing the leg press machine at Scott's Fitness and now I can do the Leg Magic with no hands! At first I totally have to hold on. Has it taken away inches? ... Not really. I never measured, but by my eye and fit of clothes I'll say not really. But I think the Leg Magic is better than the inner thigh leg machine at the gym.

I have lot of access, uh, meat should I say in my inner-thighs. I honestly think the only "cure" is surgery. But this is they way my body has been since I was 10. And I've weighed pretty much the same my whole adult life no matter what I do. So I can only make the best of it.

If I find a magic cure I'll let you know!

Thanks! By the way, I found your blog via the Scott Fitness website. I took your class for the first time last night and I loved it. I'm terrible at getting step sequences down, but I did my best. It gave me a good sweat! I'll be back next week.

  5. Thanks for finding me and coming to class. You'll catch on. And for future reference, you don't have to do every step like me, add your own style. That's what makes Zumba fun!
