My ZUMBA class consists of Latin, hip-hop, pop, 80s jams, country, belly-dancing, West African, broadway -- well just about any kind of dance. I choreograph the majority of the routines to include ranges of skill level and intensity. There is something for EVERYONE in my class.
The class has been structured following the principals of interval training. Interval training consists of repeating sessions of relatively high intensity exercise mixed with periods of lower intensity and some toning. It's GREAT for the beginner or for the advanced exerciser.
ZUMBA is fun, easy and you'll be sweating before you know it!
I'm in the process of moving to Miami. So look for classes soon!

Please wear comfortable active clothing that is not restrictive and allows appropriate cooling for thermoregulation of the body.
Also, wear comfortable shoes, with plenty of cushion and lateral support. Typically, an aerobics shoe or cross-trainer is appropriate.
AND WATER!!! We'll be taking 30 second water breaks after every 4 songs. Trust me, you'll need the water. Staying hydrated during class is very helpful.
